Have fun using drills and hammers to turn nails and screws into a fun musical instrument. Learn how to add a sensor and LED that lights up with each drop. Good for all ages, though makers 12 and under should be accompanied by a grown up. Presented by The Hacktory. Cash or credit card accepted.
Georgia Guthrie
Georgia Guthrie is a designer, maker, and artist. As The Hacktory's Director, she's lead the organization to be named "Best of Philly" for adult classes, won numerous grants, and written about the gender gap in STEM for Make:Magazine and other publications. Georgia continues to grow The Hacktory as a hub of creativity, a resource for educators, and a leader as an inclusive and diverse makerspace.
