Maker's Enabling the World
Join us to learn from a panel of makers how the Maker Movement is helping blind to navigate surroundings safely, creating alternative control systems for applications might otherwise require dexterous hand and finger movements and people who are using 3D printers to create free 3D printed hands and arms for those in need.
Eric Joseph Bubar
Eric Bubar is an assistant professor of physics at Marymount University. With help from his students he designs, tests and distributes 3D printable hands and arms to those in need as a volunteer for the Enable Community Foundation, a global network of volunteers who aim to provide open source 3D printable hands to anyone in need.

Nagasai Sreyash Sola
Sixth-grade honors student. Part of award-winning Odyssey of the mind and FLL teams. National finalist of NASA's Mars competition. Two-time semi-finalist of NASA's challenge to design space tools for astronauts, finalist this year (2016) to win Makerbot Mini 3D printer for his school. A STEM kid, curious explorer and intense tennis lover.
Gyorgy (George) Levay
George Levay is currently pursuing his master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University on a Fulbright scholarship from Hungary. He lost both his hands due to a meningitis infection in 2010 which drove him to start finding solutions to everyday issues people with disabilities face. His current research focus is in algorithms for pattern-recognition based prosthesis control.
