Making Engineers
Making is a via pathway to STEM majors and careers. College programs that encourage hands-on Making are growing in popularity. Micah Lande will share learnings from project-based engineering programs that emphasize Making and tinkering at Arizona State University.
Micah Lande
Micah Lande, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Engineering program at the Polytechnic School in the Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. He teaches human-centered engineering design thinking, making and design innovation project courses. Dr. Lande researches how technical and non-technical people learn and apply design thinking and making processes to their work.
