Making the Space Station
NASA astronaut Alvin Drew will talk about his experiences over two space shuttle missions constructing the International Space Station -- using both a 50 foot robotic arm as well as by hand on two space walks.

Alvin Drew is a NASA Astronaut on loan to the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy. He flew two space missions, and served in the Air Force flying combat rescue and special operations missions, and as a test pilot. He has bachelors degrees in astronautical engineering and physics from the Air Force Academy, and a masters degree in aerospace science from Embry-Riddle.
