3D&D: 3D Printing and Tabletop Gaming

An overview and demonstration of the ways that 3D printing technology is allowing gamers to create custom figures and terrain for their tabletop games, and a discussion of the ways that some companies are embracing this new addition to the hobby.
David Morgan
David Morgan has a Ph.D. in particle physics from The College of William and Mary and for 10 years was a professor of physics and astronomy at The New School in New York City. He is currently the academic director of the Ross School Innovation Lab, an academy for advanced high school students in STEM fields. His Ross students won a "Best in Class" ribbon for their projects at the 2014 MakerFaire.
