Counter Culture Labs' mission is to demystify and democratize biotechnology by putting tools in the hands of those who want to explore, innovate and learn to advance scientific literacy. We are a community of scientists, tinkerers, biotech professionals, hackers, and enthusiastic fans of sharing knowledge who have banded together to create an open community lab — a fully stocked biology wet-lab built in the spirit of 'hacker spaces' and 'maker spaces' to support anyone who wants to pursue a question. Biotechnology has the potential to impact our lives as much or more than computers did in the 20th century. If you have a passion, we have the skills and community to support your pursuit.
