We were inspired by the creativity and innovation of maker communities, specifically Odd_Jayy and Alex Glow's robots at previous Maker Faires. As a family of makers, we wanted to challenge ourselves to try new things and have fun while doing it. Dexter Starfighter and MakerBlock are improving on prior companion robot designs. MakerKnit incorporated her love of yarn and crochet with learning electronics.
