Maker Faire Rome 2023
FabLab architecture pcto experience
Innovative scenarios in PCTO training in which the methodology of learning by doing is applied. Our experience combines theory and practice without replacing traditional methods. Surveying architectural models by photogrammetry and direct experiences in rapid prototyping become accessible. Applications of kinematics with kinetic sculptures and the replication of architecture for studies and analysis of structures find space. Three-dimensional geometric tessellations and carvings are also represented by freeing creativity and imagination.

Mario Baioli, Manager of the Architecture FabLab Laboratory and of the pcto project ex school work alternance called "fablab-architettura@iot". Professional activity: management of modelling projects for the production of architectural models and design models with cnc, laser and 3D technologies for the exercises of students, undergraduates and PhD students of all courses of study in Architecture. He has participated in almost every edition of maker faire. Web communication expert mastering tools and new languages for teaching with social media interactions. Andrea Casale, architect, associate professor Dep. of History, Representation and Restoration of Architecture. His research is centered primarily on the study of geometric aspects of representing concerns and historical applications of the discipline. He is dedicated to the experiences of discovery, design and visual communication with both traditional and computerized methods. His research ranges from the deepening theoretical application in the field of methods of representation to the study of computer models for architecture and design and to its transformation in relation to the project
