MakeCode is Microsoft's web-based block editor for physical computing. What's more physical than fashion?! Using the BBC Microbit and Adafruit Circuit Playground Express, we'll demo how easy it is to prototype interactions between the built-in sensors and NeoPixel addressable LEDs.
What inspired you to begin investigating your topic or inspired you to make your project?:
We work with folks who understand the creation of garments but are intimated by programming. We have found that MakeCode's drag and drop block based programming (similar to Scratch) is more approachable and less intimidating. The more folks are programming the better.
