Meredith is an electrical engineer and human-centered designer who served on the production team for the first National Maker Faire. She is the Executive Director of the West Big Data Innovation Hub, a venture launched by the National Science Foundation to strengthen data-focused public-private partnerships in areas including Precision Medicine, Natural Resources, Smart Cities, and Education.

Stephanie served as the Senior Advisor for Making at the White House, where she helped develop President Obama’s Nation of Makers initiative. She works with the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation and Infosys Foundation USA to develop initiatives to support Makers and is a Founding Board Member of Nation of Makers, an independent nonprofit.

Jessie Mooberry

Jessie Mooberry is a drone pilot and Entrepreneur in Residence at Stanford Peace Innovation Lab. Previously, she was the CRO of SwarmX, a San Francisco / Singapore-based startup building fully autonomous drone systems for enterprise assets. She has also served as Vice Director of Uplift Aeronautics, a nonprofit building cargo drones at Stanford to deliver humanitarian payloads into Syria.

Raja Sengupta is a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley and co-founder of the startup company Responsible Robotics, a team spun out of the Cal Unmanned Aviation Lab that is creating new technologies that enable drone operators to comply with emerging regulations.

Paul Guermonprez

After 8 years developing personalized medicine in two biotech startups and 11 years enabling Intel’s partners, Paul is now helping drone developers build the next generation of autonomous drones by merging computer vision and Intel’s 3D sensors. Outside Intel, he wrote the book “Les Drones Débarquent” (2013, in French) and is an expert in academic pedagogy (focus on Design Thinking implementation strategies).
