Sequoia Gem and Mineral Society, Peninsula Gem and Geology Society, and the San Francisco Gem and Mineral Society
The Sequoia, Peninsula, and San Francisco Gem & Mineral club members share interests in lapidary crafts and mineral & fossil collecting. The clubs educate the public about the earth sciences & lapidary arts.
Members of local Gem and Mineral Societies will teach fellow Makers how to grind and polish gemstone cabochons.
What inspired you to make this project?:
We are earth science enthusiasts, rockhounds, and mineral collectors. We have fun cutting and polishing gemstones, and love to share the hobby with other people and teach them about the beauty of earth materials.
