Street Art: A Social Studies Maker Project

This presentation will focus on unpacking the power of street art (pop-up displays, statues, prototypes, etc.) through the lens of social justice, which empowers students to find their voice with an engaging, artistic and innovative project.
Nathan Mook
Nathan Mook is the Social Studies Department Chair at Chandler School in Pasadena, CA. He received his B.A. in Education and History from the University of Rhode Island and a M.S in Educational Leadership from Concordia University. He has nine years of teaching experience in both private and public school settings.
