Slapband is wearable wristband that provides immediate and continuous monitoring of your vitals associated with blood pressure. This wristband uses novel sensors made in a biomedical engineering lab at UC Irvine.
Nicole Mendoza
Nicole is a biomedical engineer at UC Irvine and a first generation college graduate. She was also a collegiate track and field athlete. Nicole's passion for making started at a young age, as a result of building things with her younger brother.
Kimberly Veliz
Kimberly is a biomedical engineer at UC Irvine and a first generation college student. She has a passion for researching and making new medical devices.
