Maker Faire NW Arkansas 2025
Xarnival K'Nex Fair
Home: Arkansas, United States of America
Made with 35,000 K'Nex parts and pieces and in the works for 10 years, the Xarnival K'Nex Fair is coming to town; now featuring 12 fully-functional models of real carnival rides from around the globe. Must be less than 3 inches tall to ride!
Maker
Arlo Woodworth
Always one to be distracted in class, Arlo was always one to ask "what if?" When he started getting K'Nex sets as gifts, he turned those what-if's into look-what-I-made's. He now lives in his creation cottage in central Fayetteville surrounded on 6 sides floor to ceiling by inspiration and creativity.
What Inspired You to Make This?
A lifelong obsession with everything mechanical and amusement parks culminated into the 10-year creation of this display. Every few years, some more gets added to it. Constantly designs are being improved and remade. My favorite part by far is being able to share the finished product. Due to its size, it's a hard thing to share. It's hard to find places that'll allow me the space to display it; as it has only ever been displayed once in the past (at the NWA mall between December 2023 and March 2024)
