Love word games and a chill vibe? Come check out Word Play Cafe! You will find us dressed in black and white, offering a number of unique games including a new one called LEXACUBE designed by a member of our team. In this game, you'll rush against time to make words using digital blocks with constantly changing random letters. Our big screen will track previously guessed words and show what letter is coming next. You can play solo, in groups, or compete head to head.You can also gather to cheer as both players continue to make as many words as possible until the bell rings. For Burners and the Burning Man curious, we have Burning Man themed crosswords also constructed by Word Play Cafe teammates. And yes, we have a unique spin on a certain green-and-yellow word game that we know you love.

We debuted at Burning Man 2022 because we love word games and wanted to share that passion with others. What began as a simple idea—to offer the daily crosswords along with a Burning Man-themed puzzle—quickly bloomed into something much bigger. We created a spacious dome where people could rest, connect, and play both popular and obscure games with us and with each other.
