I have been woodcarving for more than forty years, using both hand knives and chainsaws. For the past twenty-plus years, I have been a full-time professional chainsaw carver, demonstrator and instructor. I taught Leisure Courses in hand carving at LSU for nine years. I have taught at BREC, and I've led hand carving classes with up to 15 participants. I'm currently the President of the Pelican Woodcarvers Guild of Baton Rouge.
