Maker Faire Tashkent 2025
VEX Robotics Project
Home: Almaty, Kazakhstan
This student-led project features a custom-built VEX robot that performs interactive tasks inspired by the international VEX Robotics competition. Combining mechanical design, programming logic, and playful user engagement, the robot throws balls into a target and celebrates successful hits—turning core STEM principles into an accessible, hands-on experience for Maker Faire visitors. The exhibit not only showcases real-world robotics skills such as gear ratios, motor control, and sensor-based feedback, but also highlights youth innovation and teamwork in Central Asia. By linking local talent to a globally recognized platform, the project promotes STEM learning, international collaboration, and the maker spirit.
