I started To Be Tie Dyed over 16 years ago after a friend noticed my tie dye dress. She asked if I would come do a tie dye party for her child. 2 moms at that party asked me to come throw a party for their children too. and To Be Tie Dyed was born. I am a newly retired, single mom, to 4 adult sons and grandma to many. I teach tie dye as STEM. I create my own dye base and formulate my own colors. You will learn about chemical reactions, along with engineering and physics while upcycling your own 100% cotton, t-shirt or pillowcase that you bring to our booth.
