Maker Faire Coney Island 2025
Project 250
Home: New York, United States of America
Project 250 is a project with a single restricting parameter: its mass. Federal drone law states that any unmanned aerial vehicle over 250g is required to be registered with the FAA and is also subject to more flying restrictions; Project 250 aims to provide a prototype that can do as much as possible while remaining under 250g.

StuyGlides
StuyGlides is a model airplane-oriented club at Stuyvesant High School that researches and develops RC aircraft. We use techniques like 3D printing and materials like foam board to construct small-scale RC planes that are designed to accomplish tasks like aerial photography. To test our designs, we fly them at either Calvert Vaux Park in Brooklyn or Flushing Meadows Flying Field in Queens.

The US' restrictive drone law inspired me to make this project. Also, the idea of an ultralight aircraft with ultra-responsive handling and great flight characteristics has always been interesting to me.
