Maker Faire Bay Area 2025

OpenCAL: Open-sourced Layerless 3D Printing

Home: California, United States

We will be showing a completely new type of 3D printing process called Computed Axial Lithography (CAL). CAL is a completely layerless 3D printing process, that can form parts in less than a minutes. We will show our microscale prints, and other exciting projects we work on in the lab. We want to teach people about this new process, and give them resources to explore it on their own. We will be demonstrating our first version of our opensource printer, designed to be manufactured by the general maker community!
