Alie Gonzalez-Guyon

Alie Gonzalez-Guyon is a creative technologist, fabricator, and lifelong maker born & raised in Miami. She started programming at 10, led her high school's FIRST robotics team, and by 16 was working at her first startup. Later, she co-founded MATRIX Labs to make IoT hardware more accessible, leading to its acquisition. These days, Alie combines code and fabrication in experimental projects for herself and clients like her "Death Ray Reborn" LED laser and REZZ-inspired LED glasses. She also co-founded hello_miami, which puts on a weekly hack night (Thursdays, 6–11pm) for engineers and makers to cowork together. The motto? “We just want to hang out with other nerds and build cool stuff.”
