Getting Started with Arduino: Code, Connect, Create!

This project focuses on introducing participants to Arduino and hands-on electronics through a structured workshop. The workshop is designed for beginners to explore basic electronics, coding, and interactive projects using Arduino. Key Activities: Introduction to Arduino & Electronics – Understanding components, setting up the Arduino environment * Hands-on Projects: Blinking LED – First coding experience Button-Controlled LED – Learning input and output control Buzzer Alarm System – Generating sounds Potentiometer-Controlled LED – Analog inputs and PWM Motion Sensor Alarm – Basic sensor integration * Final Challenge & Discussion – Applying knowledge to real-world projects Through these activities, participants will gain practical coding skills, circuit-building experience, and problem-solving abilities, fostering a maker mindset and encouraging innovation.

Burak Evrentug
Burak Evrentuğ is a Computer Programming Lecturer at İzmir University of Economics Vocational School, specializing in software development, data science, and machine learning. With a background in computer engineering and extensive industry experience in software development, he has worked in various sectors before transitioning fully into academia. As a technology enthusiast and educator, he is passionate about hands-on learning, maker culture, and innovative teaching methods. He actively integrates Arduino, IoT, and low-code development into his courses to bridge the gap between theory and real-world applications. Burak is also pursuing a PhD in Management Information Systems, focusing on big data and artificial intelligence applications. His goal is to inspire students and makers to develop creative, technology-driven solutions through practical, project-based learning.
