Fresno Ideaworks

Home: California, United States

At Ideaworks, our vision is to be the Central Valley's leading Makerspace—an inspiring hub where innovation, creativity, and community thrive. We empower people with the tools, skills, and support they need to learn, grow, and solve problems creatively. We are a community of makers—tinkerers, technologists, artists, hobbyists, craftsmen, educators, innovators, and entrepreneurs—united by a shared passion for building meaningful and beautiful things. We believe in collaboration, and we openly share our knowledge, skills, and tools to lift each other up. Since our founding in 2012, our core principle has remained the same: helping each other grow is the most important job. This spirit of collaboration drives everything we do, because we believe that together, we are smarter and more capable than any one individual. What began as a small group of makers sharing resources has grown into a catalyst for change in downtown Fresno and beyond.

Fresno Ideaworks

Our vision is to be the driving force of inspiration in our community as Central Valley's premier Makerspace. We are dedicated to bringing innovation by providing our community with the resources to develop new skills and practice creative problem solving. At Ideaworks we foster a community of makers: tinkerers, technologists, artists, hobbyists, craftsmen, educators, innovators, and entrepreneurs. What all of these diverse and unique minds have in common is a passion for making beautiful and useful things in the company of other creative people. We share our knowledge, experience, abilities, talents, and tools. Founded in 2012, the first tenet of Ideaworks has always been: if someone can help another member learn or grow, that's job one. This collaborative ethos is at the heart of everything we do because together we're smarter than any lone individual. What began as a few maker enthusiasts hoping to share resources has become an engine of change in downtown Fresno and beyond.
