Meet Jackie XIX, our 120-pound competition robot built by high school students for the 2025 FIRST Robotics Competition! See it in action as it drives, picks up, and launches 16-inch balls, with the chance to drive the robot yourself! Then, roll up your sleeves at our DIY station and create your very own pompom launcher to take home. You can also try your hand at coding with LEGO Spikes by programming a mini LEGO car to attempt to escape our impossible maze. Our booth is packed with hands-on fun, exciting engineering, and student-built creations. Come see what the Warriors of East Harlem are building!

Our team is made up of about 40 high school students from 15 different schools. Each year, we design, build, and program robots to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition. We work in small teams and students take the lead in problem-solving, design, and building, while mentors provide guidance and support. Beyond robotics, we aim to inspire interest in STEM, build leadership skills, and share our passion with younger students through outreach and community events. Our mission is not only to compete but also to empower the next generation of innovators in East Harlem.
