Gil Merritt
The Gil-Monster (Gil Merritt) is a pipe cleaner horror artist born in Pittsburgh PA, the Zombie Capital of the World. Self-taught in the art of pipe cleaners since the age of 4, he has a Bachelor's Degree in Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a member of Teaching Arts Rochester, a repeat attraction at the national Museum of Play, and wrote, created and patented his tabletop fighting game AMPUTHEATRE: The World's Goriest Board Game. He lives in Rochester NY with his wife, his cat, and a vault of bad movies.
