Los Angeles Public Library
The Los Angeles Public Library provides free and easy access to information, ideas, books and technology that enrich, educate and empower every individual in our city's diverse communities. In 2016, LAPL began hosting the Los Angeles Maker Faire, a gathering where inventors and creators from all walks of life showcase their cool projects and gadgets. It’s an event that sparks curiosity and invites people of all ages to explore, create, learn, and exchange knowledge and skills through interactive experiences.
