The Backyard lander is a 12-foot high 1/2 scale model of the Apollo era lunar module. It carries a big visual impact and it is only 1/2 scale! This visual draws the students in, then invites discussion into and technology of a trip to the moon.

What Inspired You to Make This?
in Third grade (1969)my teacher gave my a sticker from her father that was working on the apollo program .50 year later in was a bucket list thing just for fun.
