Quentin is a professional musician and performer, and an accidental robot builder. He started building MAX, Ponytrap's giant mechanical drum, because he couldn't find the right people to join the band.

What Inspired You to Make This?

MAX, the giant drum, is a tool more than a project. I literally just needed a drummer that would show up to rehearsals and play the same weird music that I like to play. After spending years (decades?) trying to find the right people, I decided to build my own bandmate.
