"ZXnet": LAN gaming for vintage Sinclair computers

Home: Italy

By finding on eBay a few ZX Spectrum Sinclair 48K computers dating back to 1983, along with their "ZX Interface 1" network interfaces, it was possible to rebuild a LAN (local area network) system that can be used for simple multi-user games written in BASIC Sinclair. The protocol of this network allows point-to-point or broadcast communication through a shared bus (a simple audio cable that connects up to 64 nodes) at an incredible speed of 100 kilobits/second :-D
