Několikrát jsme se jako rodina účastnili maker fairu jako návštěvníci i jako makeři. Nasáli jsme opravdovou nadšeneckou atmosféru této akce a letos bychom opět chtěli zaujmout malé i starší makery. Rádi bychom nabídli možnost přisednout k nám a vyzkoušet si vytvořit něco pro radost. I nadále zůstáváme věrni naší gumičkové střelnici pro malé i velké - pistolky na gumičky vyrobené na domácí frézce jsou ukázkou tvořivosti i využitelnosti malého CNC stroje pro rodinnou zábavu. A pro ty nejmenší máme připraveny malé gravírované obrázky, které mohou vesele vybarvit podle vlastní fantazie.

Got Robots? Marauder Robot

With two new gaits for 2025 , Marauder is a giant walking, skating, dancing hexapod robot lit with over 700 RGB LEDs for a spectacular kinetic light show. The robot is over 6' long, standing 4.5' high and loves dancing with kids. The addition of passive scooter wheels at the end of the legs allows for skating at a fast walking pace so the robot will be roaming the Faire far and wide. Watch out! The bot may just replicate by deploying Blader, a tiny version of the bigger robot!

The Lab with Doc Dave

Doc Dave is going to share how he makes props for his haunted Halloween cemetery. Props include headstones and grave markers (some animated), upholstered coffins, and realistic skeletal material all made from new materials that are mechanically distressed, painted and webbed to make them look very old and decayed. A few simple, but effective, homemade animatronics will also be on display. He will also share how he makes inexpensive atmosphere effects like "critter eyes," ground fog, lighting effects and his "Ghost Gun" (vortex cannon) made out of a 55 gallon drum. Doc Dave places emphasis is on spooky and creepy and fun rather than gore to make a family friendly haunt!
