Ubo Pod (Developer Edition) is an open-source hardware platform made for makers and developers. It adds a layer of UI/UX to Raspberry Pi to let end-users better interact with developer applications. Through a language agnostic API, developers can add interactive UX to any codebase (written in any programming language) and running anywhere. Makers can use it to develop interactive applications or self-host existing applications to protect their personal data on their own hardware. The hardware comes with an SDK that can make development much easier particularly when it comes to interfacing with added hardware peripherals or developing a GUI. Il suo end effector è costituito da una struttura tentacolare flessibile, rivestita con un materiale adesivo ispirato alla microstruttura della pelle del geco, in grado di garantire l’adesione alle superfici senza l’impiego di agenti adesivi . L'obiettivo è investigare e migliorare le tecnologie per il recupero dei detriti spaziali e la manutenzione dei satelliti, testare i modelli dinamici di satelliti con appendici robotiche e i software di controllo per operazioni di prossimità. GRASP è stato selezionato per un programma universitario dall’ESA per essere testato nell'Orbital Robotics Laboratory
