Lumanoi Interactive Light Sculptures

Lumanoi is a series of wall-mounted interactive light sculptures that are designed, engineered, and assembled by Robert Quattlebaum in Ashland, Oregon. These light sculptures are interactive—waving your hand an inch or so in front of the sculpture causes ripples to emerge and radiate across the works. It feels like magic. Robert will be showcasing three unique works, as well as showing some works-in-progress, allowing you to see how he designs, fabricates, and assembles his interactive light sculptures.

Tvůrčí objevování – Ročníkové práce žáků 8. třídy Waldorfská základní škola Wlaštovka je škola, která všestranným způsobem podporuje kreativitu, umělecké a praktické dovednosti svých žáků. Zaměřujeme se na výuku propojující umění, řemesla a techniku, přičemž klademe důraz na práci s přírodními materiály a individuální tvůrčí rozvoj každého žáka. Na Maker Faire představíme ročníkové práce žáků 8. třídy, které sami vytvořili během školního roku. Tyto projekty reflektují širokou škálu uměleckých a technických dovedností – od malby, návrhářství, řemeslné výtvory, práci s přírodními materiály a smíšená média. Každý žák si zvolil vlastní téma a techniku, ve které se chtěl zdokonalit, a výsledkem jsou jedinečné a osobité výtvory. Naším cílem je ukázat, jak důležité je začlenění umění a praktické dovednosti do vzdělávání, a inspirovat ostatní k objevování vlastního tvůrčího potenciálu. Těšíme se na setkání s návštěvníky a sdílení naší radosti z tvorby!

Les participants repartent avec leurs créations, tout en ayant découvert des solutions concrètes pour réduire leurs déchets et prolonger la vie des objets autour d’eux.
