OpenELAB.io provides high-quality developer electronics for students, enthusiasts, and professionals. We believe that anyone can build, and we have brought some exciting projects built with developer electronics modules to lean while having fun. 1. Smart Pet Box with M5Stack Plus 2 The Smart Pet Box with M5StickC Plus2 uses various sensors and an automation control system to monitor and control the pet's living environment. The controller features real-time environment monitoring, automatic temperature and humidity control, overheat protection, remote control and data viewing as well as camera monitoring to ensure that a comfortable environment for your pet. 2. AI Polaroid with Raspberry Pi Why settle for traditional photos when you can have AI-enhanced ones? This demo featured a Raspberry Pi-powered polaroid camera capable of generating nine different AI-stylized photo effects, thanks to VanceAI’s image processing. Once a visitor selected a style, the image was printed instantly using a Xiaomi Printer—turning our booth into a mini AI-powered photo studio. 3. Smart Energy System with Arduino As an intelligent battery and load management system using solar panels, batteries, and Arduino, this smart energy system converts solar energy into electrical power, charges batteries, and provides power to Arduino and peripherals. The system also includes real-time monitoring of battery and load parameters such as voltage, current, and power using the INA226 module. 4. Lego Porsche with M5-Programmed Engine & Display Our crowd's favorite was the Lego Porsche demo, featuring an engine controlled by M5AtomS3 Joystick module and digital dashboard display. It illustrated how embedded systems could enhance automation, robotics, and real-world control applications.

MakerBox is a flexible, portable solution designed to deliver high-impact, hands-on STEM classes. Developed to serve both urban and rural communities, the kit includes multiple versions, each containing a curated set of interactive experiments that teach engineering and design fundamentals in an engaging, accessible way. These kits have been successfully used in bootcamp-style programs across Kazakhstan, providing structured learning on engineering basics. Additionally, they play a critical role in STEM outreach to underserved rural areas where access to traditional Makerspaces is limited or nonexistent. These kits not only foster creativity and technical skills among youth but also promote inclusive education by bringing innovation directly to communities that need it most.

2本のラック機構を使ったペンプロッタです。XYの動作はステッピングモータ、ペンの上下はソレノイドで動かします。Gコードのデータを読み込んで絵を描きます。マイコンはM5Stackを使っています。接続基板は設計しました。ロール紙を使うことでスムーズに紙の供給ができます。ロール紙は土台に埋め込まれた磁石を利用して固定されており、手で引っ張ることで簡単に描く位置をずらすことができます。

Robotické soutěže FIRST jsou víceúrovňové robotické "sporty", které jsou zaměřeny na všechny věkové kategorie od žáků 1. supně až po maturitní ročníky. U všech je každý rok společné téma (tento rok je to "FIRST Dive") a každá podsoutěž si následně vytvoří vlastní pravidla na téma. Budeme zde vystavovat soutěže FIRST Lego League (FLL), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). U všech soutěží si budete moct robota prohlédnout a u některých i zkusit ovládat. FIRST Lego League - FLL je pro nejmladší studenty a cílem je postavit robota z Lega, tak aby automaticky splnil 15 misí na zadaném herním plánu. FIRST Tech Challenge - FTC je "robotický sport", kde zápasí dvě aliance po dvou týmech proti sobě v plnění úkolu. Tento rok je to například třízení materiálu z ponorné stanice. Robota je možné sestavit z skoro čehokoli a musí být do 45x45x45cm boxu. FIRST Robotics Competition - FRC je nejvyšší soutěž v rámci FIRST. Studenti středních škol v ní testují, konstruují, vyrábějí a programují roboty, kteří proti sobě následně soutěží v aliancích ve velkých arénách. Samotný robot může být až zhruba 1 m3. Cílem soutěže je připravit studenty na studium v technických oborech. Všechny soutěže FIRST jsou mezinárodní a všechny končí najednou ve velkém finále v Houstonu. Na tomto stánku bude za FTC KeplerGO, FalconTech a částečně PoweredByRedstone, za FRC se zde bude nacházet tým R.U.R. a za FLL Hobby Robot.

CNC Fabrication for Robotics

The GEarheads are an FTC robotics team that is focused on building technical skills for design and fabrication, we will highlight three CNC router platforms we have constructed. We will demonstrate the use of one open source CNC router, share information on how you can build one, and demonstrate using the CNC. We will showcase building the hardware as well as the CAD and software tools used to operate it. We will also show an example FTC competition robot that used a CNC router to construct many of it parts and be giving opportunities for visitors to drive this robot.

Naše cílové projekty nejsou jednoduché. Chceme propojit elektroniku, internet věcí, robotiku s virtuální realitou a umělou inteligencí. Protože nechceme zamrznout u „blikání ledkou s Arduinem“, potřebujeme postupovat rychleji. Pro efektivnější programování máme knihovny a moduly – chybělo nám něco podobného pro jednoduchý i pokročilejší hardware. Námi navržené vývojové a experimentální desky, slouží i jako finálně zapojitelné moduly pro projekty nebo jejich části. Jednoduché (nebo částečně zapojené) projekty výborně pomáhají i při výuce. Ukázková zapojení, projekty a zdrojové kódy jsou postupně publikovány na githubu.

Jsme studentský robotický tým Powered by Redstone a soutěžíme v FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC). Na Maker Faire budeme u našeho interaktivního stánku prezentovat robota, kterého jsme postavili pro letošní sezónu Into the Deep. Robota si nejen můžete prohlédnout, ale také si ho sami vyzkoušet ovládat. Rádi odpovíme na jakékoli otázky týkající se našeho týmu, engineeringu a programování robotů i soutěže FTC. Chceme ukázat, že FTC není jen soutěž jezdících robotů na hracím poli, ale že to je úžasná komunita, ve které se týmy navzájem podporují a pomáhají.
