Since 1968, the Circle Masters Flying Club is a group of control line model airplane enthusiasts organized for the purpose of promoting and advancing the sport of control line flying. Our club is affiliated with the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), being awarded AMA Charter #662. The Circle Master's home field is in the Sussex Village Park, designated the "Dan Tetzlaff Memorial Flying Field". Members tend to fly mostly stunt and scale models. Racing, combat and carrier flying are also pursued. Members often participate in local and national contests. Some members have won national and world competitions, with one being inducted into the Academy of Model Aeronautics Hall of Fame. The club welcomes participation by all, regardless of age or gender.
