Jsme Lužánky – středisko volného času, organizace s více než 70letou tradicí v Brně. Již několik generací k nám chodí děti i dospělí na nejrůznější kroužky, tábory a akce, které pořádáme na dvanácti místech po celém Brně. Naším posláním je inspirovat, motivovat a poskytovat prostor pro smysluplné trávení volného času a osobní rozvoj. Na Maker Faire se letos opět představíme s naším oblíbeným projektem Polybus. Možná už Polybus znáte z předchozích ročníků, nebo jste se s námi potkali na jiné akci! Polybus je pojízdný polytechnický kabinet, který přiváží neformální vzdělávání v oblasti polytechniky a environmentálních prvků přímo do škol a na veřejné akce. Zaměřujeme se primárně na děti školního věku a nabízíme jim jedinečný zážitek z výuky, která často probíhá venku v zahradách nebo na hřištích. Tím dětem poskytujeme inovativní způsob výuky nejen obsahem, ale i formou. Během pěti let existence Polybus zasáhl do vzdělávání dětí na více než 150 školách a pravidelně se účastníme různých veřejných akcí nejen po celém Jihomoravském kraji. V Polybusu učíme děti pracovat s různými materiály, ukazujeme jim základy řemesel a představujeme jim fascinující svět práce se dřevem, kde se učí nejen ovládat základní nástroje, ale i vytvářet něco nového z recyklovaných materiálům. Proč byste nás měli navštívit na Maker Faire? Na našem stánku s Polybusem budeme mít pro děti od předškolního věku připravenou interaktivní dílnu! Můžete se těšit na výrobu jednoduchých výrobků ze dřeva, kreativní tvoření s 3D pery a pro ty odvážnější i pájení základních elektronických obvodů. Tyto aktivity nadchnou malé i velké, a proto se moc těšíme jak na děti, tak na jejich rodiče. Ať už jste s Polybusem tvořili v minulosti, nebo se k nám chystáte poprvé, chceme vám ukázat, že tvoření je zábava a že si každý může osvojit nové dovednosti. I am transforming a discarded cake box into a functional, miniature planetarium that makes astronomy tactile, delicious, and magical. This upcycled art piece combines glow-in-the-dark constellations, a suspended solar system, and edible meteorites to create a multi-sensory experience that explains the cosmos in a way that is both beautiful and accessible to everyone.

Workshop LEGO Letterpress – Bouw, druk en verras!

Ontdek tijdens de Maker Faire een unieke en speelse manier van ontwerpen en drukken. Met LEGO-stenen bouw je je eigen compositie en drukt ze af met een traditionele drukpers op papier of bierviltjes – perfect om mee naar huis te nemen! Met de workshop willen we onze liefde voor het traditionele ambacht overbrengen en de jongere generatie ermee laten kennismaken. Durf te spelen, experimenteren en verras jezelf. Doe mee en ontdek de magie van LEGO Letterpress! Martijn van der Blom en Jannie de Groot, van het Grafisch Atelier Hilversum, verzorgen en begeleiden deze workshop samen. Er worden circa 6 werkplekken ingericht, uitgerust met twee kleine drukpersen. Deelnemers zullen naar verwachting ongeveer een half uur bezig zijn met bouwen en drukken. Om zoveel mogelijk mensen de kans te geven een mooi werk te maken, is er een continue doorstroom. Omdat drukinkt tijd nodig heeft om te drogen, hangen we het drukwerk aan een waslijn. Zo ontstaat gedurende de middag een leuke mini-expositie.
