TriLeene is a collaboration between Elien the Pearl Peacock and Grizz the Trimule—the perfect combination of brilliant programable LED tail feathers on a nimble three-wheel base with comfy seating for three. The vehicle chassis is constructed from 1-1/2" and 2" tubular frames. It is powered by a 10 hp Tecumseh TVXL220 motor with Zt3100 hydrostatic transmissions driving the front axle. A third swivel caster behind the front axle provides maneuverability and stability.

The project is an autonomous rover that enables the exploration and mapping of inaccessible environments for humans. The rover has been designed to address a specific issue in archaeology, which is the inability to access underground areas due to high risk or narrow spaces. Thanks to its compact design, our rover can explore the environment and create an accurate 3D map of the environment using artificial intelligence algorithms to provide autonomous functionalities. The map will then be analyzed by researchers to obtain valuable information about the historical context.

Drawing machines have persisted across the arts, sciences, and humanities for six centuries. This talk will connect the dots between the drawing machines of today and our history of human-machine creative collaborations to inspire the creative art machines of the future!
