With the Musical Spider, everyone can play the piano. The score slides automatically on a motorised music stand. An automatic system with optical sensors recognises the notes and activates 'spiders' placed on the hands that move their fingers across the keyboard, playing the music. By framing the notes on a special board with special glasses, it is also possible to experience composing music.

The club, which currently has roughly 50 members is funded through fundraising, grants, and donation and has expanded over recent years to include a variety of art-related technology and machines. The club will be demonstrating their ceramic 3D printer which prints stoneware clay as well displaying their new mobile glassblowing furnace, which they will be using this fall to create blown glass artwork. Previous projects created by the club will also be on display. Come check out the only ceramic printer and glass furnace in Wayne County!
