Anno 2023 echter niet door een oud omaatje, maar strakke designs uit de computer van Thijs van Buuren, die leerde ontwerpen aan ArtEZ Arnhem Graphic Design en de nodige technische skills opdeed aan IPO Rotterdam. In een tijd vol wegwerp-design van snelle zeefdrukjes onderscheidt Tegendraads zich door de hoogstaande kwaliteit van haar producten. Kleur wordt op subtiele wijze gebruikt in zorgvuldig uitgedachte combinaties van draden, waarna een 15draads high-speed borduurmachine de designs uitwerkt tot draagbare kunst op ambachtelijk niveau.

Lidar a basso costo

This is a simple LiDAR with a TF-LUNA proximity sensor. The sensor accurately measures distances up to 5 meters using TOF technology and rotates thanks to a stepper motor. The NodeMCU coordinates calibration, rotation, and the collection of the point cloud, which is then processed by a computer. Initially, the project was intended for a different purpose and was commissioned by the recently deceased Professor Luigi Pagliarini, a pioneer in integrating robotics into art. All mechanical components were 3D printed.

Ook staat het ontwerp van het paneel het niet toe om de componenten weer uit elkaar te halen, waardoor zelfs bij recycling vele kritieke materialen verloren gaan. Om perspectief te bieden voor een betere toekomst is er dus drastisch een nieuw ontwerp van zonnepanelen nodig. Hieraan werkt de Delftse start-up Biosphere Solar!
