Jane of all trades, master of none. As an adult, tired of retail and waiting tables, I returned to school to finish my psychology degree while working in the field of psychology only to find that I really loved statistics and research, upon graduation I went back with a new major (Math) and stumbled upon computer science which I quickly fell in love with, I went on to be the Computer Science Club President and facilitated bringing the schools first 3D printers on campus. In 2013 I attended a Maker Faire in Queens, NY that changed my life and opened my eyes to the infinite possibilities of making. Upon graduation with my Computer Science degree I started working in Syracuse as a software engineer developing a fleet of parking software systems. In 2019, the chronic migraines and autoimmune disease I’ve experienced for years finally took over and I was forced to leave my career uncertain if I’d ever be able to return.
