Valley of the Moon Observatory Association will offer solar observing for Faire attendees. Attendees can see sun spots and solar prominences through shielded telescopes.

The Santa Rosa Junior College Physics club will also demonstrate the Completely Hackable Amateur Radio Telescope (CHART).

The Valley of the Moon Observatory Association (VMOA) are volunteer amateur and professional astronomers plus a small supporting staff organized as a nonprofit association to provide educational programs about science and astronomy for students, the public, and in support of educators.
