We're STAR, UC Berkeley's competition rocketry team. This year, we launched two successful vehicles - Caldera, our second stage separation rocket which flew to 27k ft and Alula, our first liquid engine to fly! STAR boasts a long history of successful launches, with a total of ten completed vehicles engineered over our half-decade lifetime and two liquid engines! With a diverse team of engineers, our accomplishments include placing fourth in IREC's 10k apogee competition in 2023 and holding the long-standing apogee record at Cal.
