Christoph has single handedly built the first intelligent humanoid that reaches human level motion performance and leverages foundation models for reasoning. His background is experimental quantum physics at Stanford and he dove into AI at Google Brain Robotics. Kind Humanoid is now building a humanoid at a BOM of $10k and developing a skill learning pipeline to reach true general task capability. This will open up applications in fully unstructured environments, ranging from assistance with care in people's homes all the way to amplifying any human endeavor in the future.

The founder Christoph Kohstall is a lifelong tinkerer, as a scientist he was a researcher at Stanford and published his work in Nature, as an entrepreneur he won Intel’s global competition on wearables, and he dove into artificial intelligence research at Google Brain.
