AI Color Chocolate Sorting Machine
Maker Faire Bay Area 2024
October 18th-20th
This project is an automated machine for sorting M&Ms by color, utilizing computer vision technology and automation. The key component is the Husky Lens, an artificial intelligence camera from DF Robot, responsible for identifying the color of each M&M. Once the color is detected, a servo motor is activated, directing the chocolates to the respective boxes based on color. The control core of the machine is the Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller board, which manages the interface between the Husky Lens and the servo motor. This system demonstrates the practical application of computer vision and automation in specific tasks, offering an efficient and precise method for sorting M&Ms by color.
