The 44 Daughters Make Your Own Doll Workshop

Maker Faire Bay Area 2024

October 18th-20th

Coal Shed 1 Exhibit CraftRibbon Recipient

The 44 Daughters workshop is a hands-on sewing and crafts experience that gives people a chance to make their original doll art. The 44 Daughters are a recognition and celebration of what it's like to be different and accepted for who they are, not how they look. Each felt doll is handmade by the artist Sam Montgomery, and adults and children can use their imaginations and creativity to make their own dolls through their artistic voices. The workshop is an opportunity to slow down, take a pause and disconnect. As a doll maker, you become an artisan giving life to Sam's dolls through your own personal expression.
