Humpbacks of Notre Dame: How to Use Your Project in Activism

"Humpbacks of Notre Dame" is our award winning kinetic sculpture entry for 2022. We created our art as a tool to open a wide array of "entry" points into a discussion about climate change. Spectators interacting with this piece lead themselves on a journey of discovery towards taking action on climate change. Elements from the original work will be recomposited as a static display, showing an example of using an existing event –the Kinetic Grand Championship– to bring awareness to the most important issue of our time: anthropogenic climate change.
