Learn about hand bookbinding. Emily from Cleverhands will bind a hardcover journal. Techniques shown will include sewing signatures into a book block, reinforcing the spine, constructing the book case and casing in the book (attaching the cover).
Emily Oinen
Emily Oinen is an artist, bookbinder and printmaker. I get my love of learning from my creative curious mother. She passed these clever hands down to me from my gran who made more quilts than anyone could count and was as stubborn as she was short.
