Participate in a hands-on exploration of the intersection between storytelling, poetry and making.
We'll tinker with written text, digital tools and physical materials in a playful and collaborative environment and reflect on how these investigations impact culture, identity and community.
Ryan Jenkins
Ryan Jenkins is the co-founder and lead educator of Wonderful Idea Company, a creative design studio in the San Francisco Bay Area that develops resources to support explorations of art, science and technology through making and tinkering. Ryan trains educators, develops playful environments, and creates unique exhibits and art pieces for museums and science centers. Wonderful Idea Co. programs that he has designed include “computational creatures” and “crafting with code” themed camps and classes for youth and creative coding professional development workshops for educators.
Adina Polen
Adina Polen is the founder of Atiq (atiqmakers.org), a Maker Institute where people of all ages delve into Jewish sources, and sources from world literature, and with that foundation create sacred objects for deepening personal paths of meaning. Atiq partners with organizations around the country to bring sacred art making into a wide variety of contexts, and this March launched a community makers
