We noticed that most trash was not being disposed of properly at our school, so we decided to make a trash can that can sort trash and recycling. Our trash can utilizes a Raspberry Pi and AI algorithms to detect the type of trash through a camera.

I'm an eighth grade student currently attending Chaboya Middle School. I'm interested in STEM related activities such as robotics and hardware design. I participate in FTC in my free time.
