ROBiTS R&D is a newly formed film and tech team that is working for a unique vision: combine traditional 3D character animation techniques with custom hardware robotics and software.
Our goal is to develop short video content for online stories.
Matthew Ebisu is a prolific bay area maker with over ten years experience working on technology. His day job is a roboticist, but outside he's pursuing his research into social robotics by developing tools that intersect between art and technology.
Garrick is a 3D Artist and Shrunkenheadman from Fremont, CA. He specializes in modeling and texturing, and also has an interest in lighting, rigging, programming, and more.
Charlie Ly is a recent graduate of San Jose State University's animation program with a minor in film. He has a passion for storytelling and character animation, and strives to one day play a major role in the animation industry.
Kelsey is a hobbyist game designer with her toes dipped in most art and programming subfields. She has a special love for educational technology, physics simulations, portable synthesizers, and cute robots.
Christopher Freitas is current Animation student studying at San Jose State University. All forms of animation & experimental film peak his curiosity. His future goals are to one day work in the video game industry.
