Dos Pueblos Engineering Academy
The DPEA is a public high school in Goleta, CA using project-based education to teach students problem solving, decision making, investigative skills & reflection. Students learn skills in design, art, computer programming, engineering & fabrication.
Student-created exhibits demonstrate concepts of engineering, art, science and physics. All of the exhibits are interactive, inviting the user to manipulate the device to delight and inspire learning.
What inspired you to make this project?:
This project is part of the Dos Pueblos Engineering Academy's ongoing goal to transform education. It is a means to teach students skills and empower them to create and shape their own world. The exhibits that are created and brought to the Maker Faire fulfill our mission by being not only educational to our students, but also to its viewers by demonstrating principles of physics in an engaging way.
